Mail for the block that can show up.
Trees on Saturday. A donation that stays on these streets. A canopy plan for the houses that will live with it. Same print and delivery as a café drop. The cause is the shape, not a city-wide letter with a local headline.

Saturday
Tree planting
Neighbours who can walk to the park with a shovel. The piece is a postcard: a date, a meeting corner, one line about the trees. Four blocks around the park is enough. City-wide would be a print run for people who will not come, and a flyer is more paper than a Saturday morning needs.

01
Monday
Design the card. Date, hours, park name, the corner to meet. Nothing that needs a fold. If it takes more than a glance on the kitchen table, it is the wrong format.
02
Wednesday
We print 600. The carrier already walks those streets. No donor list to upload, no names to scrub. The quantity is the doors inside four blocks of the park.
03
Saturday
Out before the weekend. Neighbours see it on the table, not in a feed they already skipped. Saturday is for planting, not for discovering the park exists.
On the card
Date, hours, park, one line about the trees. What to bring is optional. A paragraph about the climate is too much.
Skip
Apartments across town. A brochure. Anyone who would need to drive twenty minutes.
Most common for causes
A local donation
People who already use the ravine, the canopy, the playground. A flyer holds why this park and how to give, long enough to sit on the kitchen table for a month. A postcard is too small for the ask. A brochure is a report they will not read.

Cover the streets that use the park, skip the rest of the city. Include houses and apartments if that is who walks the path. Last year's donor list is already wrong, and it never included the doors a letter carrier walks every morning.
- Keep
- Houses and apartments on these streets
- The doors that already live with the park. Count them apart so you can see the mix, then keep both.
- Skip
- The rest of the city
- Anyone who would not walk. A city-wide donation letter is a print run for people who will never use the path.
The longer story
Street trees
A canopy plan for the streets that will get the trees. Photos of the block, what gets planted, how to join. Houses on those streets, not a city-wide report. A postcard cannot hold the plan. A flyer can, but it will not sit on a table the way a brochure does.

Draw, then cut.
The streets scheduled for planting, or a 1 km ring around the ravine. Inside that shape, keep the houses that live with those trees. Skip a blast across postal codes that will never see the canopy.
If apartments share the park, keep them on a donation flyer. For a street-tree plan, the print run should pay for the frontages that get the trees.
On the folds.
The block on one panel, the species and the season on another, how to give or join on the last. One cause, one neighbourhood, enough room to be specific.

One date, or one ask. The park they can name. How to give, or where to stand on Saturday. Not both competing, and not a climate essay.
Trees
Date, park, the corner to meet. What to bring is optional. The people behind the door should already be able to walk there.
Donation
What the money does on these streets, and how to give. A flyer that can sit next to the keys. A QR is fine. A form is not.
The plan
Photos of the block, the season, how to join. Specific enough that a neighbour recognises their own street.
The three, at a glance.
Same print and delivery. Different doors, different paper, a different skip.

What not to book.
A national climate letter through local doors. A list of people who already give. A brochure for a two-hour planting, or a postcard for a five-year canopy. If they cannot walk to the trees, they do not belong in the print run.
You never hand us a donor file. Unaddressed mail on covered walks already reaches every mailbox in the shape. Price the streets first, then we confirm the routes.
